Hello,
I am a law student and I am trying to have my law school emails
downloaded into my Yahoo email account. I am not concerned with being
able to send email from my law school address within my Yahoo account,
I just want to be able to login to Yahoo and see and sort all of my
emails from my law school account in the Yahoo interface..
I tried setting this up, but the email from my law school account
doesn't come through.
How can I make this happen? Do I need to upgrade to a Yahoo plus account?
Here is a useful link, from my law school, that attempts to help with this problem.

ThanksHello ebst23-ga,
Thank-you for your question.
You will need to upgrade your Yahoo! mail account to a Yahoo! Plus
mail account for you to be able to do this.
"With Yahoo! Mail Plus, you can retrieve messages from most external
email accounts."
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/ext/ext-07.html
Once you have upgraded your account there is an excellent step-by-step guide here:
http://help.yahoo.com/us/tutorials/mail/mail/ext_access1.html
An alternative solution would be to use a service such as:
http://www.myemail.com/
http://mailprobe.com/
http://www.mail2web.com/
Of these services I prefer the final one but each allows you to check
email at different POP3 accounts around the world (your school has
provided you with all the details you will need). It does not do
anything fancy though!
If you need any further assistance on this subject please do not
hesitate to ask for clarification.Clarification: it appears Yahoo! have changed there terms and you no
longer need to update to Yahoo Plus unless you need to send mail from
your school email address.
The above step-by-step guide is still correct as I have just tested
this on my Yahoo mail account.
